We stopped by Hui Lau Shan in Austin, Texas to try something different for dessert. We ordered the Mango Mochi, Pomelo & Mango with Sago, and Mango Sago. The first thing I noticed is that these desserts are not overly sweet, which I actually liked. Even the ice cream that comes with the desserts is mild and doesn’t overpower the fresh mango flavor. If you’re used to very sweet desserts, this might be a little different from what you expect. My favorite was the Pomelo & Mango with Sago. It tasted fresh, and the pomelo added a nice balance to the mango. The Mango Mochi was soft and enjoyable too. I’d say this is a good place if you enjoy fruit-based desserts that aren’t loaded with sugar. If you’re looking to satisfy a strong sweet craving, you may find these a bit on the lighter side. Either way, it’s a nice place to try something different if you’re in Austin, Texas, and I’d come back to explore more of their

I came here on a Saturday night and it was packed! Despite the crowd, the line moved surprisingly fast. Since it was my first visit, the employee who took my order was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering plenty of recommendations and making the experience much easier. Great customer service and an efficient operation even during a busy rush. Looking forward to coming back! Things I got -coconut jelly with black glutinous rice 10/10 -Pomelo sago drink 9/10 -mango mochi 10/10

Desert place with everything mango or a combination of mango with other ingredients. Eat parking in nearby garage available. Prices seem high for the dishes. Mango drinks also available along with boba drinks too. Mango doesn't taste like it is from a can but it's wasn't that great either. May be give it a try but the dessert is not big enough to be shared between two people.

Hui Lau Shan, is one of the best dessert places we have been in Austin Tx. If you like mangos this is your place. They have a full menu with amazing options with mango. We loved the mango mochi that burst into multiple textures of mango and coconut. Their coconut jelly with Oreo was kids favorite and their watermelon swirl was heavenly. Their chewy balls were yum. The staff were extremely friendly and wonderful. The place is quiet to have cozy conversation with some outdoor seating too. Loved the experience, desserts and people. A must visit for all

I'm wanting to get a little sweet treat after dinner we walked on into this shop. Everything was nice and neatly catered to mangoes. We were able to get ourselves a couple items which mango cream item was pretty good. It's just a slice of mango wrapped in whipped cream and then a edible skin. The other mango item looks like it was there their best seller. The jellies were good compliment to the mango
